Mrs. Long

Administrative Director

Mrs. Long came to GBC Preschool as the Site Director in March 2002 after working as the director in the preschool program at Southwestern Illinois College. She has a BS in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Clarion University with additional classes in Early Childhood Business Management from Southwestern Illinois College. In the past 30 years Debbie has worked in the Early Childhood Education field. She and her husband have 3 married daughters and 6 grandchildren.

Mrs. Perkins

Site Director

Ginny Perkins joined the Gingerbread Cottage staff in 2017, when her child attended GBC Preschool! Before coming to GBC, she was a public school teacher in Henrico County and Raleigh, NC.Ginny enjoys partnering with families and the staff at GBC to foster an environment where children are nurtured cognitively, physically, socially and emotionally. It is her responsibility to work closely with teachers and oversee daily operations.
